Coach
Ashley has been an avid, competitive soccer player for 20+ years, including captaining the VCU Women's Club Soccer Team and playing in Italy. While she has a passion for playing the beautiful game, she has prioritized her education to help her use soccer as an avenue to promote social equity and positive change. As such, while completing her Master's Degree in Public Policy at VCU, she partnered with the International Rescue Committee and served as the Founder and Director of REAL, a soccer and education program for refugee youth in Richmond. Currently pursuing her PhD in Public Policy, Ashley hopes to use soccer/futsal as a tool to empower youth and help them reach their full potential on and off the pitch.
